I am a Texas attorney who provides international adoption services – primarily Guatemalan adoptions.
Navigating the adoption process can be confusing and sometimes overwhelming. You can have peace of mind knowing that a legal professional on this side of the border is in charge of the process.
I will compile the required documentation for both the U.S. and foreign government including - arranging for the required home study, gathering required documents, obtaining certification and authentication of documents, obtaining translation and certification of documents as required by the foreign and U.S. Embassy and all other necessary steps.
While this pre approval process is ongoing I will be seeking a child for adoption so there can be a referral with minimal delay once a pre approval is granted by the U.S. Department of State. I even arrange for foster care for the child while the adoption is processed.
I work closely with the foreign attorney monitoring and supervising the adoption every step of the way through the foreign system, facilitating wherever possible.
And, once the adoption is granted and the child is in the U.S., I can arrange for the domestic adoption in whatever state you reside.
I have traveled extensively in Latin America, having spent much time in Guatemala. I can effectively handle adoptions in all Latin American countries, but Guatemala has the most adoption friendly system at this time.
I am bilingual in English/ Spanish.
